The Lodge and Cafe at Port Bailey are undergoing renovations and are not open to the public at this time.
At one time Port Bailey housed over 170 people so the majority of the buildings here are bunk style housing.
We have rooms with one double bed or two twin beds with individual sinks in each room, a shared shower and bathroom facility in each section of the lodge.
A 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house is available. This house sleeps 3 and has it's own bathroom, kitchenette and wood stove. The guest house sits away from the main lodge which provides for more privacy.
Loft of the Island House-sleeps 3 with one bathroom and a personal shower.
Tech House-Sleeps 5 with 2 bathrooms and 1 shower with a kitchenette.
You will be spending very little time in your room as there is an ocean and wilderness waiting to be explored. If you are looking for a little entertainment you can check out the cafe.
LODGE RATES
An Afognak Land Use Permit is required for hiking and hunting on ANC property.
LOCAL DAY TRIPS/CHARTERS
Wild Bay Café is currently undergoing renovations and will be opening in the spring of 2007. Tours of the plant are also available as well as other activities at Port Bailey such as renting ATV, kayaks, etc
